Prayer Focus Week 4

Gratefulness  CLC 100 Miles of Prayer form

Pray without ceasing. (1Thessalonians 5:17)

This week our prayer focus will be Gratefulness

The apostle Paul instructs the church at Thessalonica to Pray without ceasing. (1Thessalonians 5:17). He continues and reminds the church, In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (I Thessalonians 5:18)

This week, as we go about our various activities, let's focus our prayers on being Grateful.

The word grateful is an adjective - the feeling or showing of appreciation and describes the noun

gratitude- which is the quality of being thankful

The word thankful is also an adjective - which is expressing gratitude or relief

As we pray this week consider how to express our gratitude with thankfulness and Gratefulness.

Pray for our own revival of gratefulness, ask the Lord to build our gratefulness capacity.  Pray for others to also embrace and express Gratefulness - this feeling and attitude of appreciation and thankfulness in all things - whether we can see the immediate recognition of our sovereign God in the midst, or if we are simply trusting Him to be inspired to having an attitude of GratefulnessIn everything give thanks...
